Description
Description
The Collins Miter Clamps are designed to provide a strong and durable hold for projects requiring precise angles. Made from 100% US parts and certified to meet US manufacturing standards, these clamps provide lasting accuracy and reliability.
When miters are glued up they tend to open at the tips because end grain has been cut on the diagonal. These little spring miter clamps are perfect for keeping the pressure on while gluing miters, and when the glue is dry the tips will still be together.
The sharp points pierce the wood without cutting wood fibers so it’s easy to clean up the marks.
Miter clamps are the only way you can pressurize compound miters and these clamps will hold any compound miter as well as all awkward shapes and profiles.
When you see the superior results, you’ll never stop using these clamps. Get a dozen … you’ll find dozens of uses for them!

Store owner replied: Nice one Claude, super happy to hear this! Enjoy
I follow Finish Carpentry on YouTube and he was using these Collins clamps to hold some pretty complex trim joinery so I thought i'd give them a try. TF had the best price and I always try to support independents, so, I ordered. This is one of those 'why didn't i have these sooner' moments. Super easy to use. Very effective on both simple and complex miters. The clamps themselves open to around two inches so more than enough for most joinery. Made in USA too. Overall very pleased. And the usual great service from TF.

Seen these on YouTube and was skeptical whether they would have a sufficient bite, I needn't have worried as the spring is strong and does the job well, easy to apply and holds well.

Superb idea and for trim/joinery jobs it's something everyone should have. I used to use mitre fast but simply use some of these and pva glue for a good strong joint now which I think is better. Only problem is I need to get more clamps!
Collins Tools | Miter Clamp & Pliers kit

Fast delivery so handy
Get a set ! I’ve used mitre fix for years and I hate it. I don’t like the spray and I’m never convinced it’s a great glue. Fast drying pva and these clamps are a game changer for me. I’d recommend to any second fix carpenter and joiner
Collins Tools | Miter Clamp Professional Kit
Store owner replied: Thanks so much for this review Adrian. Glad to hear! Cheers, TF Team
I used this set doing a large area of skirting with quick drying pva. I have used mitre fix for a long time as it’s been an industry standard for a while. I hate the stuff. Clamping all the mitres with glue wasn’t as quick but was still quick and efficient. I highly recommended them to any second fix carpenter or joiner.
