Wenn Gehrungen verleimt werden, neigen sie dazu, sich an den Spitzen zu öffnen, weil das Hirnholz diagonal geschnitten wurde. Diese kleinen Federgehrungsklemmen sind perfekt, um den Druck beim Kleben von Gehrungen aufrechtzuerhalten, und wenn der Leim trocken ist, bleiben die Spitzen immer noch zusammen.
Die scharfen Spitzen durchbohren das Holz, ohne Holzfasern zu schneiden, sodass die Markierungen einfach zu beseitigen sind.

Had a few funny looks when I've shouted for my apprentice to get the penis clamps. But all jokes aside a great bit of kit what will make your life easier and stop your hands getting covered in glue! Well worth the purchase., quick and brilliant service from tf tools as well

Brilliant solution
I follow Finish Carpentry on YouTube and he was using these Collins clamps to hold some pretty complex trim joinery so I thought i'd give them a try. TF had the best price and I always try to support independents, so, I ordered. This is one of those 'why didn't i have these sooner' moments. Super easy to use. Very effective on both simple and complex miters. The clamps themselves open to around two inches so more than enough for most joinery. Made in USA too. Overall very pleased. And the usual great service from TF.

Great bit of kit
Order arrived as stated. Really well made strong product, haven't used yet but have tried out on some test pieces, and worked really well. Strong spring grips timber well and keeps miters together. Can't wait til I'm second fixing our project

Seen these on YouTube and was skeptical whether they would have a sufficient bite, I needn't have worried as the spring is strong and does the job well, easy to apply and holds well.

Superb idea and for trim/joinery jobs it's something everyone should have. I used to use mitre fast but simply use some of these and pva glue for a good strong joint now which I think is better. Only problem is I need to get more clamps!

Get a set ! I’ve used mitre fix for years and I hate it. I don’t like the spray and I’m never convinced it’s a great glue. Fast drying pva and these clamps are a game changer for me. I’d recommend to any second fix carpenter and joiner
I used this set doing a large area of skirting with quick drying pva. I have used mitre fix for a long time as it’s been an industry standard for a while. I hate the stuff. Clamping all the mitres with glue wasn’t as quick but was still quick and efficient. I highly recommended them to any second fix carpenter or joiner.
