Been using it for garden framing and posts, fantastic for chiseling out wedges Glad I made the step up in quality, bent and broke far too many chisels working with tough knotted wood, these heavy duty chisels feel unbreakable I've got the 25 and 40, the 40's got the most use, both razor sharp and easy to maintain

I've got three of these now, much much better than the majority of supposed "construction" chisels out there. Very robust and usable from the packaging for a majority of tasks but if paring I would recommend that you do some fine tuning on the pre done sharpening to give the chisel a much smoother paring action.
I’ve bought a couple of these chisels and they are easily the best chisels out there for almost all types of work and you seem to be able to get an amazing edge on them looking to invest in the full set next time

Built for proper site work, the Hultafors HDC 20mm Heavy-Duty Chisel and Hultafors HDC 25mm Heavy-Duty Chisel are absolute workhorses. Forged in one piece with a solid I-beam core, they’re designed to take a serious beating without flexing or failing.  Both sizes come razor sharp out the box with a 25° bevel, giving a great balance between edge retention and durability—ideal for heavy carpentry, not just fine joinery.  The Santoprene handle feels solid in hand and paired with the strike cap, they’re perfect for hammer work. Being able to lay the whole chisel flat is a nice touch for tighter or flush cuts as well.  Overall: Tough, reliable, and made for abuse—perfect for site carpenters who need chisels that won’t let them down.

Had these a few years now and the best chisels I've had, hold an edge well and they can really take a beating and sharpe in no time especially with the Sharp kit, worth the money and great service from tf tools

Solid chisel takes edge well not sure yet if it’s a fine woodworking chisel but I like it

I’m an old school marples Sheffield steel kinda guy but thought I would give the 25mm one a go with the convenience of having its own pouch that goes onto your belt nicely! Very impressed sharp out of the box but after getting it on the diamond stone it was razor sharp! I Did 10 oak doors today and it held the sharp edge. Very impressed! If you’re unsure don’t be. Thanks once again tf tools.
