Overview
We have been stocking DiamondBack to UK & Europe for over 8 years. It has been one of the leading nylon toolbelt brands coming out of the USA in the last decade. Started by Jim Skelton in 1993 in his garage in California, who strived to design a belt system with back support & comfort in mind. Thirty years later the toolbelt design evolution is still in motion. Now operating out of Charlottesville, Virginia, with a close knit, many of which play in the same football team.
TF Ambassador Oli, @withbearhandsuk has been rocking DiamondBack Toolbelts since 2021;
DiamondBack Chopo X Belt system - Lightweight 1st & 2nd fix
“Best tool belt ever What a great belt!
Love this thing. I do a lot of framing and it work perfectly for me. Plenty of space for all the essentials but without being massive. Small pouch on side for marking tools and the big one on the other for speed square and fixings. Hammer holster is fantastic and makes for quick and easy access to your hammer rather than reaching around in the traditional hammer loop style. Can’t recommend enough”
Made from 1000D Military-Grade Nylon this grade of nylon has an abrasion resistance equal to, or greater than leather in scientific field tests. Not only is it durable it is also designed for all day comfort, from the lumbar support & padded suspender straps to the ergonomic shape of the belts which can be adjusted to suit your body shape or the fully adjustable 701 Vest systems.

Core DiamondBack Range
-
Tempo Systems: The most recent addition to the 2025 DiamondBack X range is the Tempo. Available in 3 sizes, this belt is constructed
of two arms and a back panel. The arms are fully adjustable, not only to change the size but also the angle/curved of the belt. Some customers who were smaller belt sizes found this was more comfortable on their hips. On the BAC System panel can increase or decrease the support by removing the internal panels.
The nylon webbing allows for the Velcro hook & loop pouches to attach as well as sections for clip on accessories up to 2in. The DB38 Buckle has seen further design changes & keeps your belt in place all day long.

“I've wore many tool belts on the last 20 years. This is my most well fitting one by far especially when combined with the cirro deluxe suspenders. The buckle is very good, no catching or accidental opening and at the same time very easy to release.” David H – Tempo Belt
“This is the best tool belt I have ever used. It is so comfortable and supportive” James W – Tempo Belt
-
Classic Systems: The original belt system for DiamondBack over the years, this DiamondBack Toolbelts | Classic 4in Toolbelt provides good back support for large pouch carries. Also featuring the DB38 Buckle and a padded foam core for comfort.
As with all belts, we recommend taking measurements when checking your size. The sizes aren’t based on your trouser size but on the physical measurement around your belly button/lower back, as this is where the belt needs to support you.

"Really comfortable! You dont feel the weight of the tools at all." Bartlomiej M - Classic 4in Belt
"Got to be one of the best tool belts you can buy super comfy and perfect adjustment" Jordan M - Classic 4in Belt
-
701 Vest systems: Previously Vest systems were more bulky in design with a more military look. The 701 Vest range is lightweight, breathable & has three adjustable panels on the sides for every body shape. By holding the weight of your carry centrally on your body, it makes ergonomic sense too.
The 2in nylon webbing on the Vest allows any Velcro pouch to be attached or any clip on accessory, DiamondBack or otherwise. You can also opt for Black or one of the High Viz colours (Yellow or Orange)
“Great product really well constructed. After wearing lots of different nail pouches over the many years it great to find a product that doesn't put all the weight on your hips or shoulders.” Simon B – 701 High Viz Vest
“What a vest! There is a reason why everyone raves about it and rates it, so well worth paying the extra price for it! Spreads the weight perfectly and everything well within reach!” Kevin T – 701 Vest Black
- Pouches: With 1000 Denier nylon and DiamondSkin, the pouches & accessories are designed for hard use on site over a prolonged period. The pouches incorporate DX9 Tech Fabric on the back & won’t cause unwanted abrasion to your trousers or legs. This fabric is engineered to offer abrasion resistance, contributing to the pouches' durability without causing damage to clothing under normal usage conditions.
The pouches are designed for the size of your carry and the type of work you do. All pouches are available in Left or Right handed versions, so each Toolbelt System is also available for both dominant sides.
Smaller pouches, Mazo X, Clavo X (on Maestro X system), Loki X, Thor X (on Raider X system) are perfect for second fix & trim work. With slim profile allowing access in smaller spaces on site without catching the pouches. The Loki X although a smaller capacity pouch, has a 7in speed square slot which makes it a popular choice. Whereas the Mazo & Clavo X can carry a 4in micro square.
Medium pouches such as Eagle X & Miter X (on the Artisan X system) have excellent
tool organisation as well as fixing carry considered. This system is particularly good for someone who does a combination of first and second fix work.
For large capacity, first fix, framing and roofing work then Denali X is a solid choice, with EM X & Eagle X pouches, integrated hammer holster & flat bar sleeve, integrated magnets, bit slot and 16 tool slots. You can carry all your kit & keep everything in it’s place.
- Cirro Suspenders: These are essential for distributing the weight away from you hips and across your shoulders. The Cirro suspenders have been a great recent release, adding more comfort while keeping it light weight.

Q. What size DiamondBack belt do I need?
A. You need to take measurements around the belly button/lower back as this is where your belt supports your lower back. It isn’t your trouser size which is the most common mistake that leads to belt size returns.
We advise following the size charts as it is so personal to body shape. https://tftools.com/blogs/product-advise/how-to-size-your-diamondback-or-badger-belt
But don’t worry we do offer returns within 14 days as long as new and unused so if you do need to change it.
Q. What is the warranty for DiamondBack Belts & Pouches?
A. 5 years warranty which covers manufacturing defects resulting in product failure. Team TF will handle any warranty claims on your behalf. Just email us the image of the issue, image of the whole item laid flat & your order number.
Q. What’s the best DiamondBack set up for 1st fix/2nd fix?
A. Our best seller an all-rounder is the DiamondBack Artisan X system as it has a medium capacity, slim profile & with well thought tool organisation and fixings carry.
Q. Is DiamondBack compatible with other brands (e.g., Occidental Leather, Badger, Buckaroo, RR Toolbelts)? Can I mix and match different brand belts with pouches?
A. Yes DiamondBack belts have a 2in nylon strap, you can either attach pouches with hook & loop Velcro attachment (DiamondBack, Badger, RR Toolbelts) or you can thread closed loop pouches onto the nylon outer section of the belt (Occidental leather, Buckaroo etc)
Cirro suspenders only attach to Diamondback Tempo or Classic belts due to the hook system though.
Q. What DiamondBack set-up do you recommend for left-handed system?
A. DiamondBack offer every pouch & system in a left handed version so lefties have as much choice in systems! Hooray!

You can tell us what you carry or send us a photo of it. We look after you for the lifetime of your toolbelt and take care of your warranty should you need it in future.
Q. How do I care for my DiamondBack nylon belt and pouches?
A. Wash your pouches and then let them dry with something round in the slots; for example, a tennis ball or a can of Coke! This should help give them more shape 👍
You can use washing liquid/powder in the machine, 30/40 degree wash but don't tumble it!
