"Perfect partner to the perfect square Easiest choice by far when I was looking for a new square was a Martinez, and now with these replacement heels with the vials available the best just got better. Simple to replace from the stock heel with a few allen head machine screws, the machining is perfect leaving no play at all between the square and the heel resulting in perfectly accurate measurements and marking every time. I tested the vial for accuracy with two different digital engineers levelling devices, both reading 0.0 degree accuracy, which for a replacement heel is practically unheard of, just going to show the level of detail, accuracy and workmanship that goes into every Martinez tool."

"Quality square although expensive. Very pleased with this new square with the level in. It is extremely well made and feels lovely in the hand. The makings are very easy to see especially against the matt black background. I ordered the TF gold version and the colour is more of a matt brass than shiny gold but still easy to find. At this price you really have to want this square rather than needing it but as I appreciate the amount of work involved in making it and it's exclusivity (to a degree) it was an investment that I was willing to make."

"It’s been said before; you don’t need to spend this much money on a square, you have to want it and after 35 years of carpentry I thought why not I’m worth it. It’s slightly heavier than a standard speed square but that’s only noticeable the first few times you use it. It’s also slightly larger than a standard speed square, which is quite handy. All in all it is a thing of beauty and I’m very happy with it."

The thing with these tools is they are the BEST and until you use them you don't get it. But once you do it is 100% money well spent and likely the last one you will ever need to buy!!
