The Martinez 12oz M4 Titanium Finishing Hammer features titanium construction, ergonomic design & a lightweight body, making it ideal for joinery and 2nd fix carpentry

Its ergonomic design reduces fatigue, and its durable construction ensures reliable strength for everyday use.

Being crafted from titanium this makes it significantly lighter than other hammers of the same size.

This provides an unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio, giving you better power and control with every swing.

  • Ideal for 2nd Fix and joinery work
  • Requires less striking force due to the weight at the head end, results in less impact on your arm elbow.
  • Suggested equivalent to 16oz Estwing

Why is titanium & steel better than all steel hammers?

The titanium handle is brilliant because of it's ability to limit shock and requires less striking force due to the weight at the head end, so this reduces the impact for your arm and elbow.

Assembly Options 

There are 2 build options available; Pre assembled or self-assembly. The self assembly options will come with all the components needed to build yourself eg hammer head bolt and grip pins. You will need use of a 3/8in spanner for the assembly.

NOTE: Assembled hammers are non-returnable and non-refundable

Martinez head M1 (15oz), M4 (12oz), M79 (2lb) are interchangeable on both M1 and M4 handles.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery costs

UK £5.99 for orders up to £150, Free shipping over £150

All bladed items require Age Verification with ID on delivery, this is £6.99 to comply with the new law on shipping blades

All other countries - shipping is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and weight of items in the basket.

Delivery Times

UK Delivery

All our shipping is sent Tracked to ensure you receive your goods securely and timely. If it is over a certain value we will send it Tracked with a Signature. We dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days.

We have recently switched to Royal Mail who offer 24hr Tracked & Signed delivery from Monday to Saturday. We can't offer time slots or weekday only deliveries as Royal Mail will deliver this on your usual post delivery.

We don't accept responsibility for delivery to building sites as we can't guarantee who will sign for it and unfortunately previous deliveries have gone missing due to this. If you choose to use a building site address and it is shown as delivered on tracking, we will not accept any liability if you were not the person who received it.

If you enter an incomplete address on your order and the order is returned to us, you will need to pay the outbound shipping cost for the second shipment of it to you.

International Delivery - the same terms apply but with a guideline delivery time of up to 1-2 weeks days depending on your country.

Delivery queries

All orders are sent on a Tracked service, we send tracking information on dispatch & tracking shows the live status of the delivery day. It is the customer responsibility to check tracking & ensure they are present for the delivery time. If the customer is not available, they can amend the delivery date to another day or collect from a local collection point. If the order is delivered on the stated delivery day stated when the customer is not present & after delivery the parcel is stolen this is not the responsibility of TF Tools Ltd.

Any issues with delivery of goods, damages, incorrectly sent items must be notified to us within 14 days, this is the customer's responsibility.

For damages - you need to take images of the damage to the item and/ or packaging to support the complaint with the courier and send to info@tftools.co.uk with your order number (starts TFT).

The items must remain unused, in original packaging and in resalable condition for us to provide a resolution.

If it is after 14 days or the items has been used, this will be considered acceptance of the goods as received.

Return to Sender - Royal Mail now charge for failed deliveries for incorrect delivery addresses, tracked parcels not collected, unpaid customs on international deliveries. TF Tools Ltd will charge a subsidized fee of £4.99 to partially cover this cost, this will be deducted from a refund or chargeable when resending the parcel plus the usual new shipping fee

Owned it for nearly 7 years now, absolutely love it, can’t imagine a day at work without. I have tried painting the head and shaft a few times over the years but always end up stripping it back to the raw look, I have changed the grip twice only for cosmetic reasons not through wear. I now also have the sledgehammer and the m4 heads for it too. If you’re on the fence about getting one and use a hammer everyday, buy one!

1st and foremost, TF Tools are a seriously good business. Rapid delivery and excellent communication. I highly rate these folks. So much so, i ordered a few other thinhs from them. Hammer is exquisite. Quality of materials and feel in the hand are top notch. I foolishly bought a BOSS hammer (it has now been returned, even without using it) and the fit and finish left a lot to be desired. The Martinez oozes quality. Travelling away tomorrow for work and i actually can't wait to get swinging it.

I purchased the m4 originally as I was doing a lot of 2nd fix work and was amazed with the quality and the balance! Now I’m doing a lot of framing so I thought I’d get the m1 aswel what a beast!!! Again very comfortable and balanced like the m4 but so much purchase when swinging it! If you do a lot of front and end work this hammer will save your elbows!! Thanks once again TF another great product.
