We are super excited to welcome Scarlett to the team here at TF Tools. Lets tell you a little more about Scarlett.
What work have you done before TF?
I’ve always worked in marketing, and for the last 10 years I specialised in working with small, sustainably-minded ecommerce businesses. I love helping founders grow their companies, and the joy of working in a small business is being able to see how my work directly benefits the team and our customers.
What's your favourite tool we sell and why?
I’m very new to the team so I haven’t got a personal favourite tool yet. However, my six-year-old is obsessed with the Martinez Goochi Finishing Hammer. Every time I come home from work, he asks if I’ve bought him one as a gift! I’ve even resorted to making him a little gold hammer out of Lego! He’s recently discovered the joy of pottering in our workshop and building things with wood, and he’s convinced a gold hammer is essential for his little toolkit.
What do you do for fun?
My children joke that my perfect day would be spent scaling three mountains in the rain! While that's a bit extreme, there's an element of truth to it. I love hiking and spending a good chunk of time outdoors in general. I like to balance that with rewarding myself afterwards by relaxing on the sofa and binge-watching a good TV series!
If you could eat or drink one thing forever, what would it be?
It has to be toast! There are so many ways to enjoy it; I could never get bored of it.
What does working at TF mean to you?
It is such a lovely team, and I’m really looking forward to learning more about the industry, the people, and the products. I love that TF focuses on quality products that are designed to last.
What is your favourite playlist to work to?
I work from home a lot, so I prefer to have a talk show or podcast on simply as background noise; it helps keep me company!
