We are delighted to introduce Sophie to the TF team. Lets tell you a little more about Sophie.
What work have you done before TF?
I worked in B&Q in all sorts of roles, from shopfloor to Admin. I really enjoyed chatting with customers about project and finding the right items to help them. I also make hand carved wooden sculptures in my spare time – so TF feels like the perfect fit!
What's your favourite tool we sell and why?
I love the Shogun Japanese pull saws – I use them myself for my own work – easy and fast to use and they leave a nice smooth finish on the timber – so less sanding time for me!
What do you do for fun?
I make small scale carved wooden sculptures and wall hangings – I sell them in shops/galleries. Carving is such a lovely hobby to help you unwind – even if you do find wood chippings in your shoes at the end of the day!
If you could eat or drink one thing forever what would it be?
Oh that’s tough! I do love a lasagne, but I think a Crème Brûlée might win, mainly because you get to mess about with a blow torch.
What does working at TF mean to you?
I’m really excited to be joining the team – it’s such a lovely place to work and I’m really looking forward to learning all about the products. Plus there’s office dogs – what more could you want!
What is your favourite playlist to work too?
Anything upbeat! ‘Getting stuff done’ music – anything you could panic-clean a house too!
