TF Scott has used the Trigjig Grafter Pro 180, Squijig Fusion Pro V2 and Martinez Rapid squares on roofing jobs.
Firstly, it has to be said these squares are all excellent build quality. Squijig made in the USA by Sven & his team in their family run business, Trigjig made in the UK by Dan & Karenza.
The Martinez square was the original precision square that was developed by Jim Aiken for Metric and high functionality demand. It is made with the Martinez dedication to quality and is the only square available in titanium.
The accuracy is also phenomenal, we have sold all brands for over 7 years now and the feedbacks is consistent and warranty issues non existent.
Some of the squares are designed for UK size timbers, 38mm,45mm and 47mm and common timber widths too. Check the points below per model.

Martinez Rapid
- clear mm markings with parallel scribe markings every 5mm
- quick reference angle markings for 45 and 22.5 degrees
- hip and valley markings in degrees
- 13mm hex key for saw blades
- 45mm markings for UK timber
Whichever square you are going for either of these brands are a solid choice.
