What TF stands for 💪

Sustainability
TF aims to use recycled packaging for all our orders to reduce our waste and make an effort to bulk shipments together in hopes to significantly reduce our carbon footprint.

We are constantly trying to align our brands with our ethos which recognises the importance of environmental awareness and ethically conscious production.

Mental Wellbeing and Charity Support

TF recognises the importance of encouraging a dialogue between construction workers and dismantling the stigma and silence surrounding mental health in this sector. 

TF is proud to host a platform that collaborates a host of people in the industry. There has been an overwhelming amount of support from our awesome customers through charitable fundraising and a collective alliance of providing necessary support and awareness of mental health within the industry.

The Lighthouse Club

A Construction Industry Charity providing a platform for individuals in the UK to access advice and guidance for their mental, physical and financial wellbeing. Importantly, providing a 24/7 helpline for those seeking help.                              

Recently, Lighthouse Charity have launched a campaign to raise awareness of mental health within our industry. 'Help Inside the Hard Hat' aims to provide a huge range of support and resources for the construction community including the 24/7 Construction Industry Helpline, free app and mental health training #HelpInsidetheHardHat.

TF have worked alongside a group of carpenters creating an online community to promote awareness and raise funding or mental health and prostate cancer; through selling raffle tickets on behalf of the wood butchers group, donating all proceeds split between 4 chosen charities: Pieta house, Aware Ireland, Prostate cancer UK and Lighthouse Club #itsoknottobeok.

The 'Mind Your Head Podcast' is a "place for folks in the construction industry and beyond to smash the stigma surrounding mental health". TF are working on an exciting collaboration with @myhpodcast so keep an eye out...

Band of Builders

A charity seeking to create "a safe space for tradespeople to share their highs and lows, seek support and have some fun" acknowledging those in need and offering the necessary help.

How quick is delivery?

If you can add an item to your basket it means it is in stock - Yey!

International shipping - UPS or Postal services Tracked

We will always send you tracking information for your order the day it is shipped.

Can I change my delivery address?

If you have placed an order and need to change your address, we are unable to alter your order after it has been processed and confirmed on email.

We have recently changed our pick and pack process to get orders out as quickly as possible as we know this is important to you guys.

As a result, we can’t amend orders after they have been placed as it would stop the whole packing process to locate individual orders which we don’t have resources to do.

How much is shipping?

We ship worldwide!

UK Shipping is £5.99 for orders under £150.00 and Free over this amount.

International Shipping is calculated by the weight of the items in your basket and your address.

Where is my order?

When we dispatch your order we automatically email you tracking information on a dispatch email with direct links to your tracking.

Occasionally, tracking doesn't update fully and it takes a few days longer.

We don't have access to anymore information that on this tracking page which you can see.

UK if you don't receive your parcel withing 5 working days please contact us

International if you don't receive your parcel withing 7-10 working days please contact us

Will I have to pay customs/duty charges?

If you are outside the UK - your government will charge you some level of customs/tax for imported goods.

The prices you see are excluding VAT so you will only pay tax on the goods when you import them to your country.

Can I exchange an item?

Good news - yes you now can!

Just complete the exchange details on the return slip in your parcel.

It will need to meet our standard return T&Cs

Returns 

You have 14 calendar days from the day after you receive all goods in an order to return them. 

All returns must be notified within the 14 day period, you are responsible for return postage, we advise sending goods by Royal Mail Tracked & Signed For, as we can not be held responsible for goods which go missing on their way back to us. Unless the goods are faulty, in which case we will refund the postage to you.

We will provide a refund within 14 days of receiving the goods, assuming they are in resaleable condition, including undamaged packaging. We may charge a 25% restocking fee at our discretion, we will do our upmost to avoid this.

After 14 days, we will issue a store credit instead of a refund.

Exchanges

We now can accept exchange requests.

Please write the Item/Size/Colour/Side you want to exchange for - we will let you know on receipt of your return, if we have stock.

We will send you a payment link for shipping to send out the exchange item when your return has been processed.

Please allow 2-3 working days, we will contact you by email.

Returns received after the 14 day period will be eligible for store credit only which will be issued by an e-gift card to the email address on the original order. 

Do you have a discount code?

Online tool selling is hugely competitive.

We are a small company and can't buy the bulk quantities that suppliers can offer bigger discounts on.

As a result we try our best to be as competitive as possible and offer our best prices online at outset.

Do you have a physical shop?

We are an online shop, so we can offer tools to across the world.

We don't have the resources to run a shop for customers to come too as well as service online orders. 

However, we will be looking to have some pop-up shops around the UK in 2023.
