Martinez hammers owners - ongoing maintenance is needed on the head bolt to ensure durability and safe use.
Like anything with moving parts you will need to tighten the head bolt on your Martinez hammer every 6 months approx. In this video Scott talks through the best method for this & tools you need 🌟

Please use these instructions to maintain your hammer:
- You can use a 3/8 inch, combination spanner to loosen your current bolt. Here's the link to get one: Martinez compatible spanner
- Also, please check out Mark via our website where he instructs you on how to change out the parts of your hammer.
Hammerhead Durability and Care:
When steel is polished, it is considered bare and vulnerable to oxidation (RUST).
However, polished steel has better resistance to corrosion than rough-finished steel. To maintain the sheen of the polished hammerhead, it is best to apply a protective coating.Â
We recommend using an oil-based coating, such as WD-40, reapplying it occasionally will help prevent RUST.
