Rafter Squares: Squijig Fusion Pro V2 v Trigjig Grafter Pro 180

Lucy Durtnall |

TF Scott has had a chance to use both the Trigjig Grafter Pro 180 and the Squijig Fusion Pro V2 on his recent roofing jobs.

Firstly, it has to be said both squares are excellent build quality. Squijig made in the USA by Sven & his team in their family run business and Trigjig made in the UK by Dan & Karenza.

The accuracy on both are also phenomenal, we have sold both brands for over 7 years now and the feedbacks is consistent and warranty issues non existent.

What the actual differences?

The main differences boil down to a few key features on each square.

TrigJig | Grafter PRO 180 Square - TrigJigTF Tools Ltd

Trigjig Grafter Pro 180

  • 1/3 rafter markings
  • Rafter length chart on the heel
  • Scribe marks up to 140mm

SquiJig | Fusion PRO V2 - Joker - SquiJigTF Tools Ltd

Fusion Pro V2

  • Scribe marks up to 145mm
  • Some quick ref angle markings
  • Hex wrench for circular saw blades

Whichever square you are going for either of these brands are a solid choice.

Colour customisation is pretty good as well, you can match it to your kit & Squjig we also offer Custom Squijig where you choose your own colourway.
